My sculptural installations and self portraits embody time, technology and the human element.  As my sculptures are dependent on the human presence, it feels natural to evolve and involve performance as further expression of my artistic process.

The slides at left are stills taken from butoh performances done in the fall of 2005 for beginning drawing students in the Foundations program at Ohio State University. At the end of the clip are several student examples. More about Butoh can be found here
